"Makers in Focus"
Inspired by the work of artist Glenys Cour, sixty young “Makers” from Sketty Primary School, Swansea, worked with Swansea based artist Keith Bayliss to produce designs for retail.
The project allowed young pupils to see themselves as young entrepreneurs. Through team working, research, creative processes, organisational experiences and the development of personal and group responsibility, this project encouraged self-reliance with the aim of creating and realising designs for crafted retail items.
