Alternative Dialogues 2006
Glass & Pattern Workshops led by Huda Awad 11am - 3pm 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 9th, 10th, 15th, 16th, 17th August 2006
Alternative Dialogues Recipes and familiar faces returned to the gallery in 2006, the workshops became more popular and people came eager to cook and write down their recipes.
The art workshops focus took inspiration from Swansea's connection to stained glass design, participants worked with glass artist Huda Awad to create lightbox designs which illuminated the gallery space. Meal times were a social event and a time for people to socialise and eat together. Turkey, Senegal and Russia.
The work produced during the project will resulted in an exhibition at the gallery from 19 August to 10 September
