For anyone who has a love of colour, join us for a relaxing workshop exploring this fascinating art form!
Silk painting uses many processes in a variety of ways, and this session will equip you to experiment and discover working in this medium. You will learn the techniques of wet-on-dry/ wet-on-wet as well as salt and gutta, to apply to silk and special rainbow coloured dyes.
Learning how to mix colours, you will produce designs (either figurative, abstract or geometric) for your own beautiful and unique silk paintings.
Participants should bring a selection of their own photographs, drawings or sketches to use as inspiration and ideas for their silk painting. All other materials will be provided.
