Eventbrite: Introduction to Watercolour
Working with artist Lucy Donald, learn the basics of painting in this introduction to watercolour workshop! Festive themed artworks will be created, that can be used for greetings cards or thank you notes. We will take our inspiration from Winter traditions and Celtic mythology.
Lucy Donald is an artist living and working in Burry Port and Swansea. Her work is inspired by poetry, song lyrics and daily walks along the coast and in the countryside. Her love of Welsh history and culture forms the foundation of her work. She is a printmaker, painter and sculptor with paper and card.
Her recent work explores the medium of watercolour and brings these to life by turning them into animations.
Lucy’s work is currently being shown at Mission Gallery, on our digital exhibiting space The Screen.
