Decorative Processes in GlassAdult Workshop

Cath Brown is a Lecturer on the BA(Hons) Glass courses and BA(Hons) Surface Pattern (Makers pathway) at Swansea College of Art, UWTSD.

She is interested in creative, arts education for all and strives to protect traditional skills in making, whilst developing contemporary and technological processes.

Teaching within both Further and Higher Education over the past 18 years has given Cath the experience to deliver practical skills in a wide range of processes within the field of Ceramics and Glass as well as the core skills of drawing and visual studies. Cath enjoys helping students to develop concepts and ideas through the making process and encourages the use of both 2D and 3D work and the balance of hand generated craft skills along with digital and mechanical technology.

Join Cath for a day of exploring decorative glass processes, all materials are provided. Limited spaces to ensure adequate tuition.
