Ceramics Adult Workshop

This workshop is led by Daniel Butler and takes place at
UWTSD Dynevor Campus, De La Beche Street, Swansea, SA1 3EU
Whether you have never tried ceramics or have attended one of our previous courses, this Ceramics workshop will have something for everyone.
Techniques covered in the workshop will be: using slips, decorating, and casting. Incising and filling with colour and also slip casting in porcelain using moulds. The second session will explore piercing and carving on the forms once they have hardend up.
With a choice of projects to choose from, this workshop offers the opportunity to learn some basic ceramic techniques for first timers or returning participants looking to try another project and expand on previous experience.
Full support will be provided by Daniel Butler, UWTSD Ceramics Technician and professional ceramicist. Clay and materials provided. Limited spaces to ensure adequate tuition.
