Jessica Hoad has a varied sculptural practice which explores how we connect and disconnect with each other, ourselves and the world around us. Her current practice focuses on human resilience and how we are shaped through adversity.
Between January and March 2013, Jessica has been working directly with Mission Gallery’s exhibition ‘Japanese Style: Sustaining Design’. In partnership with the National Waterfront Museum, she has been creating a series of Education Workshops with Primary school groups in Swansea and providing participatory events.
