Kath is primarily a printed textile designer, with a love for experimenting with different materials and mediums. Her work always starts from hand drawings and paintings, using collage techniques to create final compositions. She uses digital tools to turn her hand drawings into intricate colour separations, before returning to traditional techniques and silk screen printing onto cloth.
This body of work is titled ‘Great British Jungle’, in which the forms of forest timber, lichen, flora and fauna from local woods come together in playful and colourful printed lengths, as a celebration of the vibrancy of British woodland.
