Julia Smith is a contemporary jeweller, producing exciting and intricate pieces in a very unique style. Working primarily in silver and precious metals, her influences lie within vintage scientific instruments; particularly Orreries
Her current collection consists of a series of kinetic rings and brooches with stone set elements, as well as static neckpieces, bracelets and earrings informed by similar designs.
Julia Smith is a graduate of Hereford College of Arts, and received a BA(hons) in Contemporary Applied Arts, 2010. Within her first year of making, her degree show was bought and her work featured in Vogue magazine April 2011 edition.
