The Gallery

Keeper is an exhibition by Bella Kerr consisting of three main elements; Towers, Tables and Keepers. Towers and Tables will be interactive physical structures within the space, while Keeper, the focus of this exhibition, will carry out occupation of the gallery space for the duration of the exhibition.
The role of the keeper will be played by several people, including Kerr. In addition to simply being present, keepers will perform various roles such as directing, interacting or witnessing events. Each individual keeper, invited by Kerr, will initiate a range of diverse projects. The inter-disciplinary activities of the keepers will address written and visual practices, the book and the (art) object, and their processes.
The other three 'Keepers' are; Kathryn Faulkner, Karen Ingham and Jane Rendell.
