‘Gyda’n gilydd / Together’ - a programme where we will open our exhibition space for people to enjoy and participate in a range of creative activities this Christmas.
Alongside a programme of performance, workshops and storytelling, the gallery will be a pop-up market that will change each week. Featuring work by new and established artists it is a chance to enjoy and invest in our creative community.
As part of the Gyda’n Gilydd / Together exhibition at Mission Gallery, we’ve been learning about other traditions and customs at this time of year.
To celebrate Yalda, the longest and darkest night of the year in Persian culture, here’s a reading of a poem by Shams Al-din Hafiz Shirazi.
