Quiet Session - Children's Sculpture Workshop

Age 7+
Join us at Mission Gallery for a sculpture and casting workshop. Create sculptures with recycled materials and learn casting techniques using found objects to add to your design. Experiment with colour and shape to make your own unique piece to take home.
All materials are included but you may like to bring your own object to cast or collect some colourful ocean plastic from a nearby beach to add to your design.
We offer Quiet Sessions of our children’s workshops.
These activities are designed to accommodate any participants with autism or learning difficulties. They feature a personalised and flexible version of the morning’s workshop, as well as reduced lighting and sound in the gallery. The groups are smaller with parents welcome to stay and enjoy these less crowded sessions.
We would ask if you or your child is feeling even slightly unwell to stay at home. Just let us know your child will not be attending the days session.
