Eventbrite: Performance Art workshop
Working with Actor and Theatre Maker Nancy Ellis, this workshop will give you a unique insight into how art and theatre can come together to create something that has huge impact on its audience and creators. This day long session will not only introduce you to a style that you may not be familiar with, but will also allow you to express yourself and your views by creating a piece of work to be proud of that challenges convention and pushes boundaries.
Whatever skills you bring to the table will be used, enhanced and celebrated. Whether you’re a wordsmith or painter, regardless of ability or experience, you can get involved! This is a safe, pressure free space for everyone and anyone with a voice to be heard and an enthusiasm to learn and engage in something new. If you would like to bring anything with you to the workshop that you think could add to the exploration, please feel free to.
Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes as this will be a physical workshop and you will be moving and using your body a lot. Also, clothes you don’t mind getting dirty as we will be playing with paint.
Due to the climate we are opperating in, the classes may be cancelled/postponed at short notice. We will however give you as much notice as we can should this be necessary.
