My work combines elements of Illustration and Fine Art in the mediums of print, drawing and painting. My practice explores the idea of deconstructing and reconstructing, generated from outdoor sketching. These are later transformed into illustrative drawings, prints and paintings, looking at nature, technology, architecture and the environment.
My aim is to make forms reflecting the reality of life, its darkness and as its beauty. Inspired from walks in the Port Talbot valleys, and influenced by the intertwining of organic and non-organic forms.
