Sue Lane

Sue set up Sue Lane Jewellery in 2000 after graduating from Middlesex University. The aim has always been to design, make and sell a range of contemporary jewellery that is both wearable and has a distinct style - and that is clearly recognisable as Sue Lane Jewellery. Sue continues to develop her collections by doing exhibitions, trade shows and retail shows around the UK, including Chelsea Crafts Fair, Origin and Goldsmiths’ Fair. Every year Sue develops fresh designs to enable customers to continually find something new. What’s more, as a designer Sue finds it exciting to move onto and explore new ideas. In 2004 Sue was asked to teach jewellery workshops to community groups, and this soon developed by word of mouth, and she rapidly built a reputation as a jewellery making tutor. These two elements of Sue's business have worked well together, and she co-ordinates teaching around quieter times of the jewellery calendar.
