Art Auction: 2pmSaturday 20th August
Over 50 artists fromWalesand beyond have donated work to be auctioned in support of the Jane Phillips Award. With the Actress Helen Griffin as our Auctioneer for the day and hosted within the beautiful round Reading Room at Swansea Metropolitan University’s Alexandra Road campus, this will be an unforgettable day and excellent opportunity to purchase work by established and emerging artists. Gallery Talk: 2pm Saturday 27th August
Sally Moss in conversation with artists, writers & friends, who will discuss the work of Jane Phillips within the context of Central St Martins painting and sculpture departments in the seventies, where Jane studied. Participants will also recollect Jane’s involvement in the AADW and Swansea Arts Workshop Gallery, up to more recent achievements at Mission Gallery.

Morning session10am – 12pm  |  Afternoon session 1pm - 3pm

Colour, Collage & Pattern workshops, inspired by the paintings of Jane Phillips and led by artist Keith Bayliss. The results of these workshops will be displayed alongside Jane’s paintings during August Bank Holiday weekend; 27th, 28th & 29th August 2011. 

£7.50 per workshop  |  Ages 5 – 13 only  |  Limited places  |  Booking & pre payment essential
