An introduction to ‘Framework’ a Swansea based artist collective.
Framework was a Swansea based Arts Collective comprising of 7 recent graduates who formed a group in order to support each others practice and to create a network for fellow artists in Swansea. Bring Music Bake Bread was the launch of the collective in which they transformed the gallery into a bakery and disco.
We invited people to come along and bake bread in the gallery and bring with them their favorite piece of Music. The Music was selected by raffle ticket and played whilst people kneaded bread into loaves before baking them in the oven.
Framework curated exhibitions, hosted events such as the discussion and critiques as well as their monthly live art review ‘The Social’. Frramework were an important part of the artist group network in Wales.
