Booking Your Visit

If you are bringing a school group or other educational group to the gallery, you will need to book in advance.
Please email our learning team or call us on 01792 652 016

We usually require bookings be made 28 days in advance. We’ll provide confirmation via email. If you wish to cancel, we ask for at least 7 days notice.
We pride ourselves that the majority of our services are free. However some require a fee, this will be made clear to you via email. Payment is required 14 days before your event.

Accessibility

We make every effort to include students with special educational or medical needs. We are happy to discuss your requirements at the time of booking.

Access to the gallery is by one-step entry from pavement level through to our main entrance. A wheelchair ramp is available. There is level access throughout the ground floor (exhibition space, shop and toilet).
We regret that our education space is on the first floor and is only accessible via stairs. We’re currently reviewing our options for the installation of a lift. Alternative arrangements can be considered.

Any printed materials can be provided in standard or large print text, in Welsh or English.
Braille can be arranged and is produced as requested (this must be requested in advance for production.)

Guide dogs are welcome throughout the building.

If you wish to discuss your requirements, please phone us on 01792 652 016.

Your Group

Maximum group size for a gallery visit is 30 students
Maximum group size for a workshop is 15 students.
An adult from your organisation must accompany children at all times.

Health and Safety

We take the health and safety of all our visitors very seriously. All areas of the gallery are regularly risk assessed. We have a daily programme of checks, and any hazards found are dealt with immediately.

If possible, we advise group leaders to visit the gallery before bringing a group. This will help you plan your day and identify any requirements and risks.

Group leaders are responsible for the health and safety of their party. Adults should stay with their group at all times. Should an emergency or evacuation occur, our staff will be available to give you clear instructions.
